Getting Homesick

Figure Drawing

Probably my most favorite class. I'll still love it even if I'm bad at it because... because John Williams, that's why!

He wanted us to turn in a long pose and a sketchbook page:

Definitions of Ringling #2

To ringle     | riNGgəl |    (verb) :

2. Not being able to converse with an individual on a face to face basis for more than 10 minutes because you both have just too much homework to do.

1. The sum of all actions executed due sense of ultimate euphoria caused by meeting so many awesome people.

"Hey, what are you doing at Ringling nowadays?"

"You know just ringlin'."

Check this out.

I'm not THAT proud of the first 2D project, I didn't think about it too much.  Couldn't really bond with it but I still have to scan my other assignment to the computer first and this was the only one that was already on Brian - that's my computer, named after figure teacher Brian Haverlock... He left the school :(

The assignment:  Create b/w diptych that consists of only two organic shapes ("camels" and "slugs") on one side and two geometric shapes (circles and rectangles) on the other side.

Actually this is not the final one... I don't know where the final one is.

Ringling College of Art and Design

"What's up?"
"Nothing just ringlin'."

First blog on first year of Ringling.  It has been two weeks since classes started.  Right now I am a Media Design Student (which means i take classes with future Game Art and Design and Illustration students).  The words is that we will start feeling the real weight of Computer Animation on our Sophomore year.

Classes have been fun and very early in the morning...

I haven't done very significant works of art but I figured the things I'm doing right now will really show how I develop during the school year.
