Last 2D Design Projects

Rhythm Project: Find a photograph with 3 different kinds of visual rhythms and make it abstract!

Unity Project: Create an abstract composition, (revealed afterwards) create a real image from your abstract composition. Sweet!

Oh the things I can see in abstract images...

His name is Jacque, he's from Canada.

Sodium Chloride... table salt, get it? get it? get it?

Cruella's Room Final

This is the final presentation of Cruella De Vil's room.
Kaplan didn't like the grainy textured pencil marks, I think he strongly prefers marker.

Cruuu-ella DE VIL! Dun dun dun DUN DUN!

Cruella De Vil's bedroom! ... with very bad, eye-balled lighting!

(I'm only putting these up so that I look back in a couple year and be like "sweet turkey leg... I have improved.")

Natural night time lighting.
Natural day time lighting.
Artificial chandelier lighting.

Yay! These sketches mark my third time digital painting, ever.

Dpsy T-shirt Drawing

During the digital painting club, last week's topic was to design the new dpsy t-shirt, hopefully I'll complete it someday.

Armadillo's and tablets, can't get any better!

Best Works of The Week

I decided to upload my best figure works from every week.

L

I love my figure teacher... "Hey guys, since it's halloween, I want you to zombify these portraits- really look at the bone and muscle structure beneath and distort the flesh."  The class exhales a simultaneous "YES".

The challenge was to use no lines but only shades, light and dark stops to carve out the figure on paper.
